Who we are!
Sweet Harriet, created in 2022, is an online bookstore whose goal is to get kids (and adults) excited about reading again through stimulating, and relatable literature. We are in a time, now more than ever, where reading is a critical tool that's necessary to disrupt oppressive systems as the world continues to focus on healing & unity. Further, as the demand for more diverse & inclusive literature in the classroom grows, we aim to provide robust literature because we believe that for children to thrive & feel a sense of pride, they must see themselves reflected in their reading and learning.
